The second day of the 2026 Asia Top Music Festival, presented by Hong Leong Bank, officially lit up the Sepang International Circuit in Selangor, Malaysia with another spectacular showcase of music, energy and unforgettable fan moments. Co-organized by JOOX and QQ Music under Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME), the festival returned with a dazzling Day 2 lineup featuring CxM (SEVENTEEN's S.Coups and Mingyu), TWS, 82MAJOR, CRAVITY, STAYC, Butterbear, Uriah See and Firdhaus.
Over the course of two days, the festival attracted nearly 50,000 music lovers, cementing its position as one of the largest and most influential music festivals in Malaysia and Asia in 2026. Fans began queuing as early as morning to secure the best spots, creating an electrifying atmosphere long before the performances began.
The festival kicked off with Malaysian singers Uriah See and Firdhaus, who warmed up the crowd with a selection of their popular hits. Uriah also surprised fans with a special guest appearance by Elyn Leong, drawing loud cheers from the audience as they delivered an engaging opening set.
Next up was Thailand's beloved sensation Butterbear, who instantly won over the crowd with her adorable charm. Fans erupted with excitement as Butterbear surprised everyone with special covers of BTS's "Butter" and the viral KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack track "Golden." Her cute dance moves and energetic stage presence had the audience cheering throughout the performance.
The K-pop festivities officially began with rising boy group 82MAJOR. Returning to Malaysia once again, the members expressed their happiness at seeing Malaysian fans and delivered a powerful set featuring songs from their latest mini album, including "SIGN," "W.T.F," and "YESSIR!" They also performed fan-favourite tracks such as "Passport," "Need That Bass," "TROPHY," "Takeover," and more, showcasing their explosive stage charisma and growing popularity.
Keeping the momentum going, STAYC took over the stage with their signature bright energy and captivating performances. The group delighted fans with hit songs including "ASAP," "Poppy," "Stereotype," and "Teddy Bear," while charming the audience with their visuals and stable live vocals. Adding to the excitement, the members teased that they would be making a comeback in June with a brand-new song, leaving fans eagerly anticipating their return.
CRAVITY then raised the energy level even higher with performances of "AWAKE," "Now or Never," "A to Z," "Lemonade," "Fever," and many more. Throughout their set, the members constantly interacted with the audience and showed off their Bahasa Malaysia skills. Hyeongjun repeatedly encouraged fans to scream "Kuat Lagi!" while Allen shared that he hoped to try local favourites ketupat and rendang. Their efforts to connect with local culture earned loud cheers from Malaysian fans.
One of the most anticipated acts of the evening was TWS, marking the group's first-ever visit to Malaysia. The rookie group received an incredibly warm welcome from fans who had eagerly awaited their arrival. Making the day even more meaningful, 31 May also happened to be member Youngjae's birthday. The members and fans came together for a heartwarming birthday celebration on stage, complete with a birthday song and cake celebration.
Although member Hanjin was unable to attend due to injury, he prepared a special video message for fans who came to support the group. His thoughtful gesture touched many fans, who expressed their wishes for his speedy recovery.
TWS also delivered a memorable set featuring beloved tracks such as "plot twist," "If I'm S, Can You Be My N?," "Oh Mymy : 7s," "Fire Confetti," "Overdrive," "hey! hey!," and more. Despite the lengthy setlist, fans were still left wanting more, proving just how much excitement surrounds the group. Many are already hoping TWS will return soon for their own concert in Malaysia.

Closing the night was the long-awaited duo CxM, consisting of SEVENTEEN members S.Coups and Mingyu. Bringing a taste of their concert experience to Malaysia, the duo delivered an impressive 12-song set featuring tracks such as "Fiesta," "Worth It," "Water," "5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman)," "Young Again," "For You," and "Earth." The duo also thrilled fans with their individual stages. Mingyu captivated the crowd with his visuals and charisma during "Shake It Off," while S.Coups showcased his powerful performance skills with "Jungle."
The excitement reached its peak when they performed SEVENTEEN's beloved anthem "Very Nice," prompting thousands of fans to sing along.
For Mingyu, the performance marked his return to Malaysia after visiting last year for a Snickers event.
Meanwhile, it had been seven years since S.Coups last visited Malaysia for a The Saem event. During their ment segments, S.Coups expressed how much he had missed Malaysian CARATs and acknowledged how long fans had been waiting to see SEVENTEEN members perform in the country again.
With many SEVENTEEN members expected to begin their military service this year, S.Coups and Mingyu reassured fans that they would return in 2028, drawing emotional reactions from the crowd. Their promise has left fans eagerly looking forward to either a future CxM concert or, hopefully, a full SEVENTEEN world tour stop in Malaysia.
As the final performances came to an end, Day 2 of the 2026 Asia Top Music Festival concluded on a high note. With two successful days of world-class performances and nearly 50,000 attendees, the festival has once again demonstrated Malaysia's growing prominence as a major destination for international music events.
Fans can only hope this is just the beginning, and that even more large-scale festivals will continue to make Malaysia their home in the years to come.
