Ahead of his return, we had the opportunity to connect with Jae-joong through an exclusive email interview, where he shared heartfelt insights about the meaning behind the tour, his journey through the years, and what fans can look forward to in this next chapter. 

Through the long time we have spent together, I wanted to convey my sincerity and gratitude, and I hope this can be a moment that brings out the shared emotions we hold deep in our hearts. 

As for the title GALAXY, I believe the meaning behind it will be well conveyed through the performance itself. To me, it represents how we each have our own strength and gravity, and because of that, we revolve around one another even in the future. And within that journey of revolving together are all the memories, stories, and moments we have shared. I chose this title with the hope that this concert would be a chance to look back on those memories, reminisce about our journey, and look forward to what lies ahead. 

Since it has been such a long time since my last visit, I feel very sorry for the Singapore fans who have been waiting. Through this opportunity, I will do my very best to create just as many precious memories together. 

First of all, Singapore has so many amazing buildings. From what I know, there are almost no buildings with overlapping designs, so I think just looking at the city itself would be very impressive from both an artistic and aesthetic point of view. I feel like even the simple moments of moving around the city by car would be enjoyable. 

I also imagine that Singapore has many local neighborhoods, and I would love to take a little trip to explore those areas if I get the chance. 

In the past, I think I used to make music which wears colors that someone else created for me. But now, it feels very different because the world we build together with my fans, along with the spontaneous leaps forward we make, is overflowing. However, even within that, there is still the pressure that I must continue to grow, so in that sense, living with a constant sense of tension hasn’t really changed. 

I’m currently working hard to present new songs again this year. Compared to last year, I’m deeply thinking carefully about how to bring a different kind of freshness while delivering my own values and messages through the music. I believe that when you experience the works that will be released this year, you’ll feel a kind of freshness that you may not have felt before. 

After being active for such a long time, I’ve realized how important it is to take care of both my health and my mental well-being. I believe that if I lose these two things, it would be like losing everything. That’s why I’m doing my best to take good care of both my body and my mind.

I believe I’ve been able to walk this path for the past 23 years thanks to all the fans who have stayed with me and supported me with their hearts. I will continue to do my very best to share even deeper and longer moments with you in the future. I love you!
