IVE Open a New Chapter With ‘Looks Can Kill’ at Spotify DIVE ACADEMY

IVE brought their new era to life at Spotify DIVE ACADEMY in Seoul on 19 October, treating fans to a night of first performances, fan favourites and candid conversations just hours after releasing their pre-release single, “Looks Can Kill”.

ANYUJIN, GAEUL, REI, JANGWONYOUNG, LIZ and LEESEO took the stage for the first-ever performance of “Looks Can Kill”, giving DIVEs an early taste of the group’s upcoming EP. The showcase also featured the live debut of “Girls Girls Girls”, a track from the EP arriving on 26 October.

The six members kept the energy going with fan favourites including “BANG BANG”, “LOVE DIVE”, “XOXZ” and “REBEL HEART”. Beyond the performances, IVE joined a candid talk segment, sharing insights and reflections on their next chapter.

For the group, the event was also an opportunity to reconnect with fans in person. ANYUJIN expressed her gratitude to Spotify for creating a space to make special memories with DIVEs, while LIZ reflected on the group’s comeback after eight months, following the completion of their world tour. JANGWONYOUNG also teased more content for fans who could not attend, confirming that performance videos and a special video podcast featuring the talk segment would be released exclusively on Spotify.

The showcase marked the finale of Spotify DIVE ACADEMY, a three-day experience that began on 17 October. The space welcomed fans on 17 and 18 October with an immersive experience inspired by “Looks Can Kill”, bringing them closer to the world of IVE’s new era.

With first-time performances, familiar hits and personal conversations, Spotify DIVE ACADEMY gave IVE and DIVEs a chance to celebrate the group’s next chapter together.
