Jeong Eun Ji’s First Solo Concert in Malaysia Was All Heart, All Voice

For her first solo concert in Malaysia, JEONG EUN JI gave Malaysian PANDAs an evening to remember, filling Zepp KL with powerhouse vocals, playful banter and heartfelt moments that made the distance between the stage and the audience feel a little smaller.

The APINK member returned to Kuala Lumpur on 11 October for 2026 JEONG EUNJI SOLO CONCERT IN KUALA LUMPUR, bringing her SUMMER, I Asia Tour to the city for its first stop. Her last visit was with APINK for The Origin: APINK 8th Concert Tour in May, but this time, the spotlight was entirely on Eun Ji, her music and the connection she shares with her fans.

Opening the night with “I love LOVE”, Eun Ji immediately set the tone with her confident stage presence and commanding vocals. She continued with “AWay” and “Journey For Myself”, drawing the crowd into a set that moved effortlessly between upbeat performances, nostalgic favourites and more intimate moments. From “Me to me, you to you” and “Dream” to “Full Moon” and “Hopefully Sky”, every song offered another glimpse of her versatility as a performer.

Her vocal strength was never in question. Whether delivering powerful high notes or leaning into the softer emotions of a ballad, Eun Ji sang with impressive control and sincerity. Songs such as “The Spring”, “Love You I Do” and “Rainy Season” brought out the more sentimental side of the evening, while “How’s Your Night”, “Linguine” and “No Fight” kept the concert moving with a different energy.
But beyond the music, it was Eun Ji’s easy chemistry with PANDAs that made the night feel especially personal.

During her first ment, she asked how many people were seeing her for the first time. When some fans raised their voices to say yes, Eun Ji cheekily replied, “That’s too bad!”, sending the venue into laughter. It was a small exchange, but one that captured her quick wit and the relaxed atmosphere she created throughout the show.

The laughter continued during “With the Wind”, when Eun Ji invited fans to help sing the backing vocals. The PANDAs were more than happy to participate, although they initially kept singing along with the main melody instead of providing the harmonies she wanted. Eun Ji could not hold back her laughter as she tried to guide them through it. After three attempts, the crowd finally got it right, earning an approving thumbs-up from the singer.

It was the kind of unscripted moment that made the concert feel less like a formal performance and more like spending an evening with someone who knew exactly how to make her fans smile.

The affection went both ways. Throughout the night, PANDAs shouted compliments such as “Unnie, you’re pretty!” and “I love you!”, prompting Eun Ji to respond with amused, slightly bashful “Thank you”s. Between the teasing, spontaneous conversations and bursts of laughter, the singer showed a side of herself that felt warm, genuine and wonderfully unfiltered.

The crowd’s enthusiasm never faded. Glowing lightsticks, coordinated fan chants and loud cheers filled Zepp KL, with Malaysian PANDAs making sure Eun Ji felt their presence from beginning to end. Even as the set moved through “Gradually”, “Seasons Change”, “Parrot”, “Meet Him Among Them” and “For Love”, the audience remained fully engaged, singing along and cheering her on.

As the concert approached its final stretch, “Home”, “The Box” and “Simple is the Best” brought the main set to a close. Yet the most touching moments were still to come.

During the encore, PANDAs sang “All For You”, turning the familiar favourite into a heartfelt expression of love and appreciation for Eun Ji. With fans singing together, the moment became more than a tribute to the music. It was a reminder of the bond that has continued to grow between the singer and the people who have supported her through the years.

Malaysian PANDAs had also prepared a special fan-made video, expressing their gratitude to Eun Ji for always being there for them. Its message was simple but meaningful: she had always been a source of comfort and support, and they would continue to stand by her, too.

Eun Ji’s response brought the evening full circle. She reminded fans to take good care of themselves until they could meet again, sealing the exchange with a heartfelt “JANJI”, or promise, to reunite in the future. It was a fitting moment for a concert built not only around her voice, but also around the affection she shares with her fans.

The night ended with encore performances of “B” and “Empty”, sending PANDAs home with memories of soaring vocals, spontaneous laughter and a promise to meet again. Across the full setlist, Eun Ji demonstrated why she remains such a compelling vocalist, balancing technical precision with the ability to make a song feel deeply personal.

For her first solo concert in Malaysia, Eun Ji did more than deliver an impressive performance. She gave Malaysian PANDAs a night that felt intimate despite the size of the crowd, filled with music that moved them and moments that made them laugh. When the final notes faded, the warmth of the evening lingered, along with the hope that this would not be their last reunion.
