New Red Velvet Lightstick Soon? Irene Blooms Brightly at Solo Asia Tour [I-Will] in Singapore

Six months after her previous visit, IRENE returned to Singapore once again, this time as a solo artist for her highly anticipated 2026 IRENE ASIA TOUR [I-WILL], held on 4 July at The Theatre at Mediacorp. The night marked a significant milestone in Irene’s solo journey, showcasing her growth and confidence as an individual artist nearly 1.7 years after her solo debut.

Irene opened the concert with her solo debut title track Like A Flower , instantly setting a dreamy and elegant atmosphere throughout the venue. The song’s delicate piano melody combined with bright Afro-rhythm elements perfectly introduced Irene’s solo identity. Its uplifting message about finding inner strength and blooming beautifully even during difficult times resonated deeply with the audience, making it an ideal opening for the evening. She continued the performance with a string of fan-favorite tracks including Summer Rain , The Only , Biggest Fan , and Love Can Make A Way , highlighting both her latest album Biggest Fan and her growing solo discography.

One of the most memorable moments came during the ment segment when Irene revealed that durian is one of her favorite fruits. She shared that she had eaten both durian and jackfruit before the concert, drawing loud cheers from the crowd. When fans told her that it was currently durian season in Singapore, Irene responded with a delighted: 

 “Ahh, that’s why it was so delicious!” 

 She then asked fans for local food recommendations, expressing her desire to try even more Singaporean dishes during her next visit — a charming interaction that made the night feel especially personal.

The excitement reached another level when Irene hinted that Red Velvet would be releasing a new official lightstick soon, causing the theatre to erupt in cheers. As if that wasn’t enough, she further teased the group’s long-awaited summer comeback, set for early August, sending ReVeluvs into an even louder celebration.

The encore segment became one of the concert’s biggest highlights as Irene performed a medley of beloved Red Velvet songs, including Attaboy , Red Dress , Rookie , and Russian Roulette . Fans enthusiastically danced and sang along, filling the venue with powerful fanchants that repeatedly moved Irene. Throughout the encore, she continuously expressed her gratitude to Singapore ReVeluvs, saying that their unwavering support had given her confidence and strength. 

Irene concluded the concert with Winter Wish and Start Line . In particular, “Start Line” carried special meaning. As a track from her debut mini album, the song symbolizes a new beginning in her solo career. Nearly two years into her journey as a solo artist, Irene herself feels much like the song’s message — not only finding courage for her own path, but also encouraging others to take their next step forward. The lyrics serve as a reminder that no matter where life takes us, we can always return to the same starting line and begin anew together. 

As the lights dimmed and the concert came to an end, one thing was clear: IRENE's solo journey is only getting started. With her confidence, artistry, and genuine connection with fans continuing to shine, we look forward to seeing what lies ahead for her solo career. And with Red Velvet's highly anticipated comeback just around the corner, ReVeluvs certainly have plenty to be excited about in the months ahead.
