tvN Asia’s brand-new original production in 2018 – Get It Beauty On The Road is to premiere on 10 July (Tuesday) at 18:30 (GMT+8). Audience is expected to receive practical K-beauty tips from show hosts Korean fashion and beauty icon, Sandara Park; up-and-coming actresses in Singapore Chantalle Ng and Tay Ying, as well as beauty experts from Korea.

K-beauty has been a global trend and especially popular among Asian females, however, with the climate difference between South Korea and other Asian countries, it is impossible to apply the K-techniques directly. Get It Beauty On The Road is here to answer the prayers of all the Asian girls, in particular in Southeast Asia where the weather is always hot and humid.

In the first episode of Get It Beauty On The Road, Dara along with beauty expert Song Jin-joo will tackle 2 common make-up problems ladies have under a hot weather:
1) greasy skin that turn make-up cakey easily;
2) melting eye-make up that turns them into panda. They are going to teach some quick fixes and secrets to the Korean natural moisturizing look with unnoticeable concealer.

Apart from learning about the products for different skin types, audience will be able to dive into the personal beauty bags of the hosts, as well as learn from popular Korean make-up artist Kim Ki-soo. He will demonstrate an evening look for outdoor red-carpet event under the humid weather and teach audience special techniques to avoid cakey foundation or melting make-up. Get It Beauty On The Road is a co-production between CJ E&M HK and StarHub TV, and adapts the winning format of popular Korean beauty programme, Get It Beauty, by exploring K-beauty products. To add diversity to the show, it moves the shooting site outside of a studio to different places in Singapore.
Get It Beauty On The Road will premiere on 10 July 2018 (Every Tuesday) at 18:30 on tvN in Asia. Having to go to work about 5 times a week isn’t necessarily the most fun thing in the world. However, the relationship you have with your boss can either make or break your experience at a job. Although there are some great bosses out there, here are 4 of the most difficult ones that some of us have (unfortunately) experienced.

1. The Temperamental One
Having a boss that goes through extreme mood swings is the worst. One minute they’re the happiest person and the next minute they turn into the Hulk. It’s like you’re constantly walking on eggshells or buying the lottery. You come into work everyday not knowing what to expect. Will your boss yell at you for being 30 seconds late to a meeting or take you out to lunch because you asked them about their weekend? You’ll never know.

2. The Know-It-All

We’ve all had that one boss who thinks they’re correct about everything and anything in this world. They’re never open to new ideas and want everybody to know that they’re right and everyone else is wrong. Their motto might as well be “my way or the highway”. Yes, we understand you’re the boss and naturally, you probably do know more than us but..

All we want is for you to try listening and not force your ideas down our throats 24/7. Is that really too much to ask? *sighs* Patience is a virtue with the know-it-all boss.

Do they want you to be independent but continue to micromanage? If you answered yes to at least one of the above, you, my friend, have a walking contradiction as a boss.

4. The Narcissist

You know that boss that ALWAYS wants to remind everyone that they’re perfect? For some odd reason, they think “because I’m the perfect boss” means everyone gotta (has to) be deeply in love with them.

Narcissistic bosses always want to put it out there that they’re impeccable. They also make it a mission to become best friends with attention. It’s as though it physically pains them to recognize that someone is not into them or doesn’t wanna (want to) work with them anymore. But why do they still act like this? You guessed it. “Because they’re one fine perfect human being!”

If you currently have a boss who embody one (or various) of these traits, you have two options:

Option 1: Quit your job.

Yes, this isn’t really the most realistic thing to do for everyone. Therefore, you can consider option 2.

Option 2: Know that you’re not alone.
