tvN Asia’s travel and food original production One Night Food Trip – International Edition 2 has concluded its trip in the Philippines earlier this Monday and is moving to its second stop, Taiwan. The Taiwan segment will premiere on tvN in Asia on 27 August (Monday) at 18:00 (GMT+8) with 2 episodes back-to-back.

Opposing to Team I.G. is Team Chri7ven formed by Se7en and Christina. The team starts off with the famous southern city, Kaohsiung, clearing all the savoury dishes such as the hottest among locals, Cotton Candy Sukiyaki and traditional steam-rice pudding, Wanguo. Besides, the production crew also prepares a must-eat item under the sizzling Taiwan sun – shaved ice topped with seasonal fruits, for them to get rid of the midday heat. However, what they receive is not just a tiny bowl of shaved ice, but a gigantic bowl that serves 30 people! This is indeed a “surprise gift” from Team I.G. after they have successfully finished a mission. The impactful image of this 22kg mountain of shaved ice certainly leaves the team speechless and trigger them to think of an ultimate pay back!

tvN Asia’s brand-new original production in 2018 – Get It Beauty On The Road is to premiere on 10 July (Tuesday) at 18:30 (GMT+8). Audience is expected to receive practical K-beauty tips from show hosts Korean fashion and beauty icon, Sandara Park; up-and-coming actresses in Singapore Chantalle Ng and Tay Ying, as well as beauty experts from Korea.

K-beauty has been a global trend and especially popular among Asian females, however, with the climate difference between South Korea and other Asian countries, it is impossible to apply the K-techniques directly. Get It Beauty On The Road is here to answer the prayers of all the Asian girls, in particular in Southeast Asia where the weather is always hot and humid.

In the first episode of Get It Beauty On The Road, Dara along with beauty expert Song Jin-joo will tackle 2 common make-up problems ladies have under a hot weather:
1) greasy skin that turn make-up cakey easily;
2) melting eye-make up that turns them into panda. They are going to teach some quick fixes and secrets to the Korean natural moisturizing look with unnoticeable concealer.

Apart from learning about the products for different skin types, audience will be able to dive into the personal beauty bags of the hosts, as well as learn from popular Korean make-up artist Kim Ki-soo. He will demonstrate an evening look for outdoor red-carpet event under the humid weather and teach audience special techniques to avoid cakey foundation or melting make-up. Having to go to work about 5 times a week isn’t necessarily the most fun thing in the world. However, the relationship you have with your boss can either make or break your experience at a job. Although there are some great bosses out there, here are 4 of the most difficult ones that some of us have (unfortunately) experienced.

1. The Temperamental One
Having a boss that goes through extreme mood swings is the worst. One minute they’re the happiest person and the next minute they turn into the Hulk. It’s like you’re constantly walking on eggshells or buying the lottery. You come into work everyday not knowing what to expect. Will your boss yell at you for being 30 seconds late to a meeting or take you out to lunch because you asked them about their weekend? You’ll never know.

2. The Know-It-All

We’ve all had that one boss who thinks they’re correct about everything and anything in this world. They’re never open to new ideas and want everybody to know that they’re right and everyone else is wrong. Their motto might as well be “my way or the highway”. Yes, we understand you’re the boss and naturally, you probably do know more than us but..

NEWSFLASH: THERE ARE STILL NEW THINGS YOU CAN LEARN FROM OTHERS.

All we want is for you to try listening and not force your ideas down our throats 24/7. Is that really too much to ask? *sighs* Patience is a virtue with the know-it-all boss.

3. The Walking Contradiction

PLEASE JUST MAKE UP YOUR MIND

Does your boss say one thing but does another? Do they encourage you to be creative but want you to stick to ideas that have already been done? Do they want you to be independent but continue to micromanage? If you answered yes to at least one of the above, you, my friend, have a walking contradiction as a boss.

4. The Narcissist

You know that boss that ALWAYS wants to remind everyone that they’re perfect? For some odd reason, they think “because I’m the perfect boss” means everyone gotta (has to) be deeply in love with them.

Narcissistic bosses always want to put it out there that they’re impeccable. They also make it a mission to become best friends with attention. It’s as though it physically pains them to recognize that someone is not into them or doesn’t wanna (want to) work with them anymore. But why do they still act like this? You guessed it. “Because they’re one fine perfect human being!”

If you currently have a boss who embody one (or various) of these traits, you have two options:

Option 1: Quit your job.

Yes, this isn’t really the most realistic thing to do for everyone. Therefore, you can consider option 2.

Option 2: Know that you’re not alone. 

A lot of us are on the same boat. In fact, Secretary Kim has been on this boat for about 9 years. Who is Secretary Kim? Why did she stay for 9 years? How bad was her boss?
