WkndFest has created a buzz of excitement on social media last few months with announcement of iKON, Mamamoo, Momoland and (G)I-dle joining the festival. But months later, the organiser announced additional line-up and a new date of the festival.
Happening in Axiata Arena on 30 August, Wkndfest Vol.1 K-POP Edition is set to bring a total of 6 K-POP acts including Tiffany Young, iKON, Mamamoo, Momoland, VAV and (G)I-dle to Malaysia. Tickets are now available to purchase on Myticket.Asia.

The most eagerly-anticipated K-pop music festival in the region, HallyuPopFest (HPF) returns this May for its second edition in Singapore. The best of Korean music and culture will converge at the electrifying K-pop extravaganza, which happens on the 25th and 26th of May 2019 at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Globally acclaimed superstars SUPER JUNIOR, will be headlining the festival, along with wildly popular bands such as MONSTA X, NU’EST and WINNER. In this year’s edition, a new segment, HallyuTown will also debut. It will function as the main festival square where HallyuPopFest’s much-loved Red Carpet event will be held. HallyuTown will be open to the public offering a variety of Hallyu-related booths and activities featuring K-Food, K-Beauty and K-Lifestyle, as well as a dedicated Fan Support area for fans to show their love and support for their idols.

Every ticket gives festival goers access to two concert events per day - the afternoon Showcase that runs about 2 hours long, and the 3-hour Evening Concert where headliners will perform individual sets of at least 30 minutes each, making it a “concert within a concert”. For Category 1, 2 and 3 ticket holders who would like a more personal fan experience, they may opt for the HallyuPass for Artiste Engagement which gives them a once-in-a-lifetime interaction experience with an artiste performing that day.

The 'Best New Asian Artist' category is the new addition to this year's awards which the best new artist from 5 regions in Asia will be receiving the honors.
Rookies from all across Asia including Dean Ting, HIRAGANA KEYAKIZAKA46, Marion Jola, Orange, and The Toys are set to perform during the night. The nominees are selected based on the data provided by ORICON (Japan), Tencent Music (China), KKBOX (Hong Kong, Taiwan), JOOX (Indonesia, Thailand), and ZING MP3 (Vietnam).

Information about 2018 MAMA
MAMA will kick start the festival in Korea followed by "2018 MAMA Fans' Choice in Japan" which taking place at Saitama Super Arena on 12th December, with performers including BTS, IZ*ONE and TWICE. "2017 MAMA in Hong Kong", however will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo, Arena on 14th December with BTS and WANNA ONE as the performers.
